It all started in childhood.

For as long as I can remember I have been deeply curious about movement and human connection. Physical playfulness, both alone and with others, and exploring the capacity of my body and the world around me were always a higher priority than academic studies.

After feeling uninspired by my A Level studies at College in Cornwall I decided the time had come to pursue Acting.

During the years of my application to drama school, I realised I ought to educate myself further and qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and began working in South London under the company name ‘KipFits’.

During the national lockdown of 2020, I then offered a dance workshop online to bring people together and keep up my spirits. ‘Dance it out’ soon developed into the offering I called Creative Dance Fitness. A name that I deemed best described the eclectic nature of the workshop.

As soon as the sun returned the following Spring I took ‘CDF’ out into the parks of south London and was thrilled with the reception.

That Summer I took CDF to 3 festivals across the UK and grew in confidence, leading larger and more varied groups to play, connect and get active together.

Then came a phenomenal year studying professional acting at the Oxford School of Drama. This year taught me a huge amount about human connection, our emotional needs, and how drama, and physical and emotional sensitivity intertwine.

After graduation in 2022, I set out in London to offer Creative Dance Fitness on a regular basis, taking lessons from Drama School and expanding the workshop offering to include elements of acting and physical theatre, hints of ‘character work’, and mental imagery to inspire the movement, furthering the ‘creative’ aspect of Creative Dance Fitness.
